Count me in.....
Dearest Lady,
id gladly, no, happily, pay the tuition fee to enter your excellent institution. Id love learning from the best how to improve my running skills. (Especially after the last update, which really screwed up my drok-runs.....)
I consider running ppl to different places (at least in the higher-lvl areas) one of the last challenges the game (of course im not talkin pvp here :-) ) has to offer, if youve nearly seen anything else.
Lookin forward to meeting the legend face to face.

Thanks for all the comments and interest, everyone. The academy is still running and I am still allow students to join. The runs are still possible, even after the most recent updates.
Catator, look for me in the evenings. I know we miss each other often because when you are playing in France I am at work in Chicago, but weekends are a great time to catch me, and other members of the academy are always happy to help out.

Nice idea LBS. Runners do need some kind of recognition. Too many scammers out there on both runner and customer side. I think running is a really fun aspect of GW.It is a designed feature of the game( I read this in some interview) and I hate it when people vilify runners. I myself enjoy it a lot and although I am not a pro runner, I can do fast runs to most places(except citadel/copperhammer). I find that beacons->droks(after 9/29) and the southern shiverpeaks runs take real skill and patience. All others are just about not getting lost.
Its good that you are sharing your knowledge of the game for 15 ectos which is about 5-6 runs for a graduate from the academy at this point. But how many people can join the academy before they start to compete among themselves? Because if you are not at beacons advertising you are missing out on the crucial first time customers, people who have heard of droknars forge but have never been there. The first runner who runs them will almost certainly get a PM for a run on their second character. And people who are willing to pay the amounts you listed are select few in numbers compared to the numbers who want to join your academy. Therefore to ensure the financial future of your students I suggets you put a limit on the number of people who get to join your academy, or else I see a break in supply/demand chain and then everyone in beacons will be trained by you and will run for tips.

Congratulations to the two most recent graduates of The Academy: Reyla Terest and Wilko Maximus completed the graduation test and are now certified as runners. Nice work to both exceptional runners.
I also wanted to show everyone who stops in the new mark of excellence for Guild Wars runners: I plan to provide every graduate of my academy a customized forgerunner bow. I have been buying these bows in game for 1 ecto each, and if anyone has extras and would like to sell them to me, I have not found enough to provide one to every graduate of my academy yet, but that is that plan. That way anyone playing Guild Wars can tell instantly who the best runners in the game are prior to ever handing over money for a run.
Let me know if you have extra ones of these bows, and look for this symbol of quality from your runners. Thanks!

i succesfully run worldwide runs, ith not ONE death all the time, i have been running for over 3months, i run all my friends and guild members for free, im Guild Leader of my guild.
this is quite a good idea. i am in the progress of making a special 2 man team, than can run anywhere and everywhere, we also complete any mission. wi th the special use of a 3 man team for the fire isalnds, we are perfecting special builds to complete the mission with 3 ppl, while the others sit back and enjoy the ride.
its a highly skilled trade, i can admire the effort which Blue Steel has put into creating such an empire, and i offer my congradulations.
perhaps in the near future we may benefit each other. who knows what the future holds

Woot i joined the academy, it's great i love it, and my first day i made 25k because of this guild. I really recommend people to join this academy, who want to learn to run, fight, have skills, make money and so much more. I can't wait to graduate. Lady you've done an awsome job and u deserve everything u make. Like yesturday i was on she ran someone from lions arch all the way to ember light camp, missions included! and she did it. She is very dedicated and great at what she does, amazing... she truly is. I really hope i can soon run with her and be her partner! Thanks a bunch lady!

I was offered a chance to join the guild, but had to decline due to prior commitments. Those have been fullfilled and I'd like the chance to join again.
Thanks.

LBS: How have the recent updates affected the Droks run? Mind Freeze slows you by 90% now, and they have added a mesmer in the middle of a mob after the second worm group in Lornars. I was able to to do it with two other high level warriors. Is it not soloable anymore?

It can still be soloed. A solo run is still required to graduate from my academy, as well, and the two most recent graduates did remarkably well despite the added difficulty.

Worth every penny so far IMO... Breathes a new lease of life into an otherwise completed game...
If you want a challenge look no further.
